The methodology essentially consists of the following steps:

Analysis

We gain a comprehensive overview of the material, value, and information flows in your factory. This involves both shop floor walkthroughs and workshops with knowledge and decision-makers from relevant areas. In addition to traditional approaches, we also use Process Mining, depending on the conditions and the subject of analysis, to evaluate digital footprints. Celonis and Signavio are two widely used software solutions for Process Mining. Regardless of the tool used, the goal in the first step is to highlight process gaps and media disruptions in a holistic end-to-end view.

Action Areas

From the identified process gaps, media disruptions, and weaknesses, we derive specific action areas, evaluate them in terms of benefit, complexity, and effort, and develop a targeted implementation plan.

Implementation

Action areas with the greatest business benefit are specified and implemented in a targeted manner. The action areas can be organizational, procedural, or IT-related – or a combination of these.
